Kekai means near ocean in Hawaiian. This hand-drawn ʻOhe Kapala (bamboo stamping) design created by Malialuika was arranged exactly as it would have been traditionally stamped on Kapa. After this same tradition, this design was created using modern techniques.

Stamped Kapa is the true Hawaiian "Aloha" print versus what is marketed and sold around the world since the advent of tourism in the 1950s.
